The next gathering of the ASLC Women’s Book Group will happen via Zoom on Saturday morning, October 8, 2022. The session will begin at 9:00 am. The book we will discuss is The Kitchen Front by Jennifer Ryan. Norma Allenbach-Schmidt will lead the discussion, and Emily Summerlot will be our host. The book has had very favorable reviews, and even includes actual recipes from cookbooks published in WWII England. There is a bit of mystery, a bit of romance, some actual history, and, Karen Lee, a great ending!
All are welcome to participate in Book Group gatherings, including friends and family members.
At this time, we plan to have our 2022-2023 gatherings via Zoom to ensure that all can participate, regardless of location.
